Lunch meeting at Rotary Club of Queenstown was a hive of activity with back to back exchange of flags from various clubs around the world, announcements of upcoming activities and a guest speaker; Past President June Jonet who gave a presentation on the Future Vision Plans of The Rotary Foundation.
Every table setting had a packet of tissue placed on the side plate with the Rotary logo on it. It looked like a typical Singaporean habit of reserving your seat for the meal one is about to have. It was explained during lunch that the tissue is a gift that will be given out to anyone who donates a minimum of SGD10 for the Rotary Flag Day to be held on Saturday 10 November 2012 all over Singapore, headquartered in PP Jack Chuang's residence for RCQ.
Fistful of Dollars :)
