Kindling Hope and Unity: Rotary Club of Queenstown's Christmas Celebration
In the spirit of Christmas and the season of giving, the Rotary Club of Queenstown celebrated Christmas on 18th of December 2023 with joy, reflection and fellowship.
This event not only commemorates the joy of fellowship but also serves as a poignant reminder to remember those who have so little during this festive season.
We are delighted to announce that our President-elect, Farouk Merchant, will be kicking off the new year with his major project aimed at bringing about positive change in BLY (Bhakti Luhur, Yogyakarta, Indonesia orphanage. fund raising project). This initiative is set to begin with a spectacular event on Thursday, 18th January 2024.

Donations to flood victims in Hue, Vietnam.
Rotary Club of Queenstown extends heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support in our mission to aid flood victims in Hue, Vietnam this November 2023. Through the Sunshine Fund, we've contributed S$1000 to provide chicks and vital chicken rearing training, fostering sustainable livelihoods.
In partnership with RC Quang Tri, a Rotary global grant aimed at constructing 64 latrines in Hue is underway, though challenges persist due to the ongoing flood. Despite obstacles, our commitment remains unwavering, prioritizing immediate action to support livelihoods.
The Sunshine Fund continues to play a crucial role, offering financial assistance to those facing significant burdens during life-altering events. Your support fuels our dedication to making a positive impact in communities affected by natural disasters.
